ARE YOU BEING DENIED JOBS OR HOUSING YOU ARE QUALIFIED FOR?
The reason may be your background. If you have ever been convicted of a MISDEMEANOR or FELONY, no matter how long ago, many companies will exclude you from employment, and property owners or property managers will deny you housing. The law allows you to ask the Court to dismiss your convictions. This legal procedure is commonly known as expungement. Once your convictions are dismissed, most companies or landlords will not deny you employment based on your background investigation after you have an expungement. We will advise you on your options and eligibility. We will help you prepare the expungement documents free of charge for low-income people with convictions in Sacramento County.
